Arabic with Nadia is a website for learners of Arabic maintained by Nadia Selim, an Arabic instructor based in Australia. On her site she has shared a lot of materials she herself has prepared. These include five “story” videos, which can be found on their own page. These are all in very simple Arabic. One of them has a PDF version you can print out. There is also a sixth item on the “stories” page, which is a book in PDF format without video, available for a small fee at Lulu.com.
These videos are appropriate for someone who has worked through the Bite-Size Arabic book. I will be posting articles to present the vocabulary introduced in these videos. Here are the first three of those articles, in order of difficulty:
- What’s in Mariam’s room?: غُرْفة مَرْيَم
- Learn prepositions with “Arabic with Nadia” video: أَيْنَ أَنْتِ؟
- Learn to talk about your city with video: مَدِينَة مَرْيَم
